The SKC World Tour 2002 continues

The afternoon before presenting at the Compaq/Sequel Data Systems SAN Seminar in Austin, TX (see story on previous page), SKC dropped in on the Austin, TX BATLUG to deliver a Compaq Strategy pitch replete with a saucerful of secrets on Marvel, Quick-Blade, Cyclone, Thunderbolt, and a host of other forthcoming products from Compaq’s BCSG and ISSD. Thanks to LUG Chair and Encompass US, Inc. Director Jean Norton for the invitation, and to Jon Power, CEO of Austin-based migration and application rehosting specialists Sector7 for subsidizing the event. Long known for its VMS-to-Unix migration programs, Sector7 is readying a program to help VMS users migrate their environments from VMS/Alpha to VMS/IPF. More information is on the Web at www.sector7.com.
